Long Exhale feels like the final breath of the Spring Collection; the point where the season has started to change, the colour has returned, and there is finally a little more room to let go.
The painting has soft blue, green and pale neutral tones, with an openness across the surface. The lower forms feel grounded, while the space above gives the piece a lighter, more breathable quality.
This work is less about arrival and more about release. It has the feeling of stepping back, looking at the room, and realising something has eased. Not in a dramatic way, but enough to feel the difference.

The Spring Collection is a series of original paintings about the return of colour, light and feeling.
Rather than painting spring as something sudden or decorative, this body of work looks at the smaller shift that happens first: a paler sky, a warmer edge of light, green beginning to appear again, the sense that something has started moving before it can fully be explained.
These paintings are not exact landscapes. They are shaped by morning light, open skies and places from my memories, but they are also about the feeling of coming back to yourself after a colder quieter season.
Each piece is made to bring softness, depth and a sense of return into the home without overwhelming the room.
