Spring [PRINT]

from £49.00

Spring is the brightest piece in the collection, an artwork about colour arriving before you are quite ready for it.

There is something joyful in the pinks and greens, but it still feels gentle rather than loud. It recalls that point in the year when small things suddenly begin appearing everywhere: colour at the edge of a path, blossom in places you had stopped looking and a warmer kind of light entering the room.

Spring has an open, uplifting feeling, with soft blue space above and loose, garden-like movement below. It would suit a room that needs freshness, colour and a little lift; somewhere you want the artwork to bring life into the space without taking over completely.

The Spring Collection is a series of paintings about the return of colour, light and feeling.

Rather than presenting spring as something sudden or decorative, the collection explores the smaller shifts that happen first: a paler sky, a warmer edge of light, green beginning to appear again and the sense that something has started moving before it can fully be explained.

These are not exact landscapes. They are shaped by morning light, open skies and places from Kinga’s memories, but they are also about the feeling of coming back to yourself after a colder, quieter season.

The original Spring painting was created by Kinga Makowka as part of the Spring Collection, 2026.
